Bringing Art to Life
Introduction
As an artist, my goal is to elevate the dignity and quality of life of people by eliminating barriers to opportunity and helping individuals, families, and communities in need reach their fullest potential through the power of art. Every individual on this planet has the opportunity to a full realization of human potential, allow for participation, and contribute to all aspects of life. Your love and appreciation of art will directly benefit the medically underserved people of Mtshabezi, Zimbabwe. Your patronage will help drill wells and build a permanent health clinic in a rural area in the South of Zimbabwe known as Mayezane.
About Me
I was raised in Southern California. My interests as a youth were sports and art. At 10 years old, I began to skateboard and that continued for 15 years. I moved to Colorado in 1995 and attended a community college and studied graphic design and illustration. I graduated in 1997 with two AA degrees. I then worked as a graphic artist for a company in Colorado Springs. After a few years of working I decided to attend Colorado State University Pueblo and enrolled in their graphic design program. I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and Art in the Spring of 2010.
